Privacy Statement

Our Commitment
StockLane is built privacy-first. We minimize the data we collect, we never sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or share it with third-party data brokers.
Data Stored on Your Device
Your settings, security preferences, connected endpoint URL, and any API keys you enter are stored locally on your device. API keys are held in memory/secure storage on the device and are used only to authenticate requests you initiate.
Account Data
If you sign in with Apple, we receive the identifier Apple provides and, only if you allow it, your name and email, used to maintain your account and preferences. You may use the App as a guest without an account.
Subscriptions & In-App Purchases
Optional subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through your Apple ID. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Apple provides us with a transaction identifier and subscription status so we can unlock unlimited AI Ask attempts. Subscription management, billing history, and cancellation are handled in your Apple ID settings. Apple's privacy policy applies to payment processing: apple.com/legal/privacy.
Data You Connect
If you connect your own data feed, the App fetches JSON directly from the endpoint you specify. That data is processed on your device to render the screens. We do not operate a central server that copies your operational data.
AI Assistant
When you use the Ask feature, your question and a snapshot of the relevant on-screen operational data are sent to the AI provider you have configured in order to generate an answer. Do not enter data you are not authorized to share. The AI provider's handling of that data is governed by its own privacy policy.
Data Residency
You can choose whether your data is processed in Canada (PIPEDA) or the United States (CCPA) from the Security section. We apply the residency preference you select where technically applicable.
Security
Data in transit is protected with TLS 1.3 and data at rest is protected with AES-256 encryption. We support Face ID / biometric lock, two-factor sign-in, and suspicious-activity alerts. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data. Because most data is stored locally, you can remove it by disconnecting sources and deleting the App. For assisted requests, contact privacy@stocklane.app.
Children's Privacy
StockLane is a business tool not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We will update this statement as the App evolves and revise the effective date above. Material changes will be surfaced in-app.
